Thank you for visiting my page!

So, who am I?

Well, I am a barely-educated Hillybilly who moved across country in search of a new life and grander accomplishments.

Along the way I have been fortunate enough to do some pretty neat-o things.

As you can see from this page, I am a Japanese car enthusiast. However, don’t be fooled – professionally I restore, modify, and maintain classic American cars. Muscle cars, collector cars, and hot-rods.

While I spend my days spinning wrenches on GTOs, Camaros, 32 Fords, LaSalles, Continentals, Cobras, and the occasional batmobile – I come home to a two car garage with three small Japanese cars within.

How, you may ask – can someone work on classic American cars by day, and drive/tinker Jap cars by night?

Because I am a true enthusiast! That is why! I love the sound of Chevy small blocks, early Hemis, and solid-lifter fords – but I am equally in love with the sound of my civic howling it’s way to 8400RPM in VTEC and the insane induction noise of my Miata with it’s ITBs. The way I see it, I get the best of both worlds.

Cars are cars, and what they stand for is universal. It does not matter if it is metric or standard. It does not matter if it came from here, or there. It doesn’t matter how many cylinders it has, or how much it is worth. All that matters is how it is built, how it is driven, and how it reflects the personality of the person who owns/drives/modifies it.

I love the confused look when other brand-loyal enthusiasts overhear my friends and I talking about civics, toyotas, shelby cobras, Bizzarrinis, GT350s, and Mopar Poly engines all in one conversation. I am right at home discussing the history of Hot-Rodding, as well as air-cooled Porsches and the latest happenings at the Idlers Japanese track events. That is how I roll, cool is universal.

I also am considered a “Maker” – as in I dabble in 3D Printing, micro-controllers, etc. I built a 3D Printer years ago and have steadily been modifying and upgrading it since.

I also am an avid firearms enthusiasts and mediocre photographer that has been published a few times.
